5 Reasons I Love Garrett...

Since yesterday I celebrated my 5 year anniversary with Garrett I think that a top 5 for the reasons I love him is in order.

5. Sexy dancing...I don't feel this needs an explanation, just use your imagination.
4. Honesty. He is VERY honest, about everything, sometimes it hurts a little, but hurts so good.
3. There is absolutely nobody in this world that I have more fun with and enjoy spending time with on a regular basis.
2. Conviction. Not the criminal kind, but what Garrett believes in he really believes in, it does not matter if it's the type of music you should listen to or what his religious beliefs are he is very passionate about it.
1. Big butt--Bigger Heart.

Is it just me?

Is it just me or does the Kay "Open Heart" design look like a snake?  Every time I see Jane Seymour advertise this frightening piece of jewelry I think of snakes!  I need to know if I am alone in this line of thinking.

And the Winner is...

After searching and battling with Garrett on fabric to make the baby's crib bedding from I believe we have reached a decision.  Now we just have to find coordinating fabrics to complete the ensemble.  Have a suggestion?  Please let me know.

It's a boy!

The title says it all.  I'll post the pictures of the ultrasound once I'm over the plague and feel up to it.  Just thought I should post this quick bit of news.

Heartbeat Information

So I heard the baby's heartbeat this week, and found out that in the old days before ultrasounds they told people if your baby's heartbeat is below 140 bpm it's a boy if it is above 140 it's a girl.  My baby's heart rate was 163 bpm.  Garrett has been sure it's a boy the entire pregnancy so I guess only time will tell...and the ultrasound I'm having April 16th.

Huzzah!

In a recent survey, conducted by Gallup, Utah was named the "happiest" place to live, followed by Hawaii (Yay for Carrie!)  then, wait for it...Wyoming????  Apparently the survey tries to measure people's overall well being.

Want to know the most unhappy place to live?  In last place you get West Virginia, followed by Kentucky then Mississippi.

So friends, let's have 3 cheers for living in the happiest states!
